Do you need a better understanding of the Internet/Web? Do you want a general overview or specific "how to's"? WPD provides both and we tailor our seminars and courses to your business's specific needs.
Internet Seminar
The Internet seminar is designed to give the participants a general overview of the Internet and the Web. We discuss: the Internet and the Web and the differences between the two, what you can do, how to get connected, what is out there and how to find it. This is not a hands-on seminar.
Internet Course
WPD's Internet Course takes the basic information from the seminar and expands the detail. This is a hands-on course designed to give the participants the skills needed to use the different areas available on the Internet and Web. Several topics that are covered: e-mail, browsers, effectively using the search engines.
Beginning html
Learn the basics to design your own Web page and site. This course covers what html is and how to design your own page. Web site design is also covered to help you with the do's and don'ts of creating an effective site. This is a hands-on course. Basic knowledge of the Internet and Web is required.
Advanced html
You have mastered the basics and are ready to add additional functionality and design elements to your pages and site. This course will teach you how. This a hands-on course. Knowledge of the Internet and Web, as well as basic html is required.
